Round-the-clock water supply is what primarily attracts a wannabe house owner, who looks forward to the luxury of abundant flow of unlimited water. And that is the usage of water efficient plumbing fixtures, albeit at a higher price. “The usual tendency of the customers is to opt for low-cost flush valve model. With a rush of 10 to 14 litres of water in a single flush, it is not only uneconomical, but also unethical,” says Neelam…
Which knob to press is dependent on the need of the user. Either way, it is much more reasonable than using flush-valve system, though the cost is much higher. One more way of regulating water supply is through the installation of flushes and water faucets equipped with sensors. They are widely used in commercial establishments marked by irresponsible and unregulated water consumption. A sensor inside the fixture will allow the flow of water only on sensing an obstruction. In effect, water flow is stopped once the hand is removed from under the faucet or the commode is flushed clean. An alternative is in the use of pre-set timers fixed inside the faucet.
