HMWSSB to take over water supply to 10 municipalities

“The takeover will be completed in four to six months time,” the Mines and Geology Minister Sabita Indra Reddy said. She made the announcement while participating in the Praja Patham programme in ward no. 17 of Malkajgiri municipality here on Wednesday. The Minister said the Government was also contemplating supplying drinking water to the surrounding municipalities on alternate days on a par with the twin cities unlike the present supply of once in three to five days.
